Since 1983 Denver Urban Ministries has committed to providing hands-on educational and service opportunities to youth and adults interested in improving the Denver community and taking the knowledge learned here, back to their own communities. We take pride in our strong relationships with local non-profits and churches and the continued relationships with youth programs and colleges throughout the country. Historically a United Methodist affiliated organization we believe in providing all communities of faith a chance to serve and put their faith into action.
In the fall of 2010, we began a partnership between DenUM's Urban Education program and the Urban Servant Corps's Urban Plunge program! These two great service-learning programs have combined to create a more thorough curriculum and expand our capacity to provide learning opportunities about the realities of poverty. The mission trip portion of the Urban Education program will now be known as the Urban Plunge!
