Getting Ready

Now that you’re registered, it’s time to prepare for your trip to Denver!  We’re excited to have you! Check out all of the cool links in this section, designed to help you plan your week and have some fun working, relaxing, and reflecting. 

A Few Reminders

Half Payment and Final Numbers Deadlines:

• One (1) month prior to arrival for school-year weekend groups.
• December 1st for spring groups.
• February 1st for summer 2012 groups.

     Half-Payment Amounts:

• Full week $90 per person
• Half week $50 per person
• Weekend $32.50 per person
  
  

*If you still unsure about final numbers, please provide your best estimate for youth and adult participants by the deadline.

Liability and Release Forms:

• Every participant must have a signed Liability Form and Consent to Release Information Form upon arrival in Denver.
  
  

Itineraries:

• Final itineraries, schedules, contact information and necessary directions are sent to youth leaders two weeks prior to arrival in Denver. 
• Please keep in mind that schedules are flexible. Weather and other factors can contribute to last minute changes.
• The Urban Education Manager does their best to schedule volunteer opportunities that fit the needs of agencies and the wants of the group as well as providing a balanced view of homelessness, hunger and poverty in Denver. Not all volunteer sites are available every week.
  
  

Arrival and Departure:

• Week Plunge groups are encouraged to arrive between 1:00 and 3:30pm MT on Sunday afternoons and depart their housing church before noon on Saturday. Unless other arrangements are made prior to arrival
