Urban Plunge Registration Overview

By participating in the Urban Plunge program, you join Denver Urban Ministries in nearly 30 years of service to the Denver community. In Denver you have great opportunities to not only learn and serve but provide care and assistance to many people in need.

Requirements:
12 years old through adult
One adult per 6 youth

Capacity:
60 participants (youth and adult) or 2 separate groups.

Urban Plunge Pricing:
Week (4-6 nights): $180 per person
Half Week (3 nights): $100 per person

Weekend (1-2 nights): $65 per person

*Weekend Plunges not available March, May-August.

Fees include housing and showers, educational activities and programming.

Your registration form and guidelines along with a non-refundable deposit of $100 will hold your requested date.  For Half Week and Week Plunges, the deposit will not be applied to the total cost of your trip.

Lodging:
Each Urban Plunge group can choose from a wide variety of local churches for housing including urban and suburban locations. Every church has kitchen facilities and private sleeping arrangements. Many, but not all, have showers on site. If showers are available on site, arrangements are made with a nearby recreation center.

Transportation:
As a gesture of respect to the communities we serve and in recognition of driving and parking conditions, charter buses and “touring buses” are not allowed.

Groups with more than 12 participants are organized into smaller work teams during the day. Please keep this in mind when make vehicle arrangements
